After we were designated the National Winner for Romania in The Workplace and People Development Award category at the European Business Awards in 2018, it was high time for us to be recognised locally as well.And it finally happened! We applied to the 5th Edition of Romanian Business Services Forum & Awards, and apparently we won the Employer of the Year for business services companies with less (sic!) than 800 employees. Hooray!The competition, held by Outsourcing Today, is at its 5th edition, continuing to recognise, reward and celebrate the success of the most prominent companies acting in the Outsourcing – BPO, ITO and SSC industry in Romania.The forum & gala event took place in May 2019, at the JW Marriott Hotel Bucharest; our colleague, Dragos, was able to join the gala to bring home the award. Here’s a couple of pictures of him smiling (well, almost, in one of them):How did we convince the jury? It’s probably not one thing, but many. In our application we spoke briefly about our open company culture and our care for each other, but also about career management, personal and professional growth, and last but not least, our interesting projects. We also presented some metrics, like our colleagues’ high job satisfaction (8.7/10) that we measure through our comprehensive internal survey, and the incredibly high retention rate we had in 2018: 93%.
