Qubiz was named the best workplace in Romania. Again!

During last year’s March we were happy to announce our winning of The Workplace and People Development Award for Romania at the European Business Awards 2017/2018. And rightly so! The EBA is a contest of the very first caliber – maybe the most relevant in Europe.

Now we’re delighted to announce that the EBA’s jury has picked us again! The jury examined 3000+ companies from all over Europe and picked national winners for each category in the contest. For The Workplace and People Development category they chose Qubiz to represent Romania in the final stage of the competition where we’re going to face fierce competition from other European businesses that put people first.

OK, but what were the criteria?

EBA sent us an extensive questionnaire that touches the following points:

• The overall profile of the company, its financial results and growth over the years. Here it’s worth noting that even though we more than doubled our team size in the past 4 years, we managed to keep our #qubizm.
• Career management;
• Benefits;
• The actual work we do;
• Work atmosphere;
• Personal and professional development;
• The extra mile, where we can boast with a really high retention rate (93%) and a good score in our internal survey (8.7/10).
• Leadership, customer management, CSR, innovation, and care for the environment.

Alright, we must have scored pretty high on all these since we were named the best workplace in Romania! However, this achievement only marks the beginning of the road. On the 3rd of December, a Qubiz delegation will be in Warsaw where the final judging will take place. Maybe we’ll come back home with the European title. Wish us good luck!
