A happy ended internship program

We are very happy and proud to have Diana, Horia and Lucian as our new colleagues.

For four weeks they were part of an internship program that took place in Qubiz, at our headquarter in Cluj-Napoca and at the end of it, each of them found his or her place in the company.

The internship started with a week of individual learning through tutorials and everyday sessions of “lessons learned”. After first week, they were involved in developing a web MVC application where they would put into practice everything they had learned.

During this internship, Diana, Horia and Lucian implemented a site using the architecture that was proposed and explained to them by the senior developers, they estimated, analyzed and implemented all the tasks and they worked with the Team Foundation Server.

Throughout the program, the three interns used Microsoft technologies. They also learned about the basic principles of programming (OOP, SOLID), connecting to databases (Entity Framework, Linq), web languages and tools (HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery). In terms of database they also worked with SQL Server (SQL Syntax, stored procedures) and got acquainted with architectural and design patterns. The programing language used was C# and the development environment Visual Studio 2012.

At the end of the internship, we are very happy to welcome them in Qubiz. The adventure starts now for them!

Welcome in Qubiz, dear colleagues!
