Bike to work! It's cheaper, faster & healthier

We're aware that every community that aspires towards a better, healthier living encourages its citizens to use their bikes or at least use public transportation, as opposed to using cars. And so do we. Here at Qubiz, we stimulate our people to bike to work. And why not? It's cheaper, healthier, greener and often faster than driving. But lets focus a minute on the green aspect.

Cycling should play a very important role in every city that plans to be habitable in the future. We all know about the devastating effects of car pollution and about the benefits of practicing sports. So why not kill two birds with one stone? Even Wikipedia says so, so it must be true!

Anyway, if you find the lines above even half-convincing, go get yourself a bike and hit the road!

Don’t know what type of bike would serve you best? We recommend you a city bike if your main concern is getting to work or going shopping. If you love taking long tours, you need a bike that's more robust, more comfortable and capable of transporting heavy items. Likewise, if your hobby is exploring off road locations, you should get a mountain bike. It all depends on your habits and lifestyle!

By the way, every year between the 16th and 22nd of September we celebrate the European Mobility Week. On September 22 we celebrate World Car Free Day, which encourages motorists to give up their cars for a day. Hope you’ll do the same this year, even if you don't own a bike!
