About the role

We’re looking for a legal professional who can work together with outside legal councils, in-house data protection, security and sales professionals, as well as our management team. We know that most companies like to stick their nose in their people’s business and middle managers love micromanagement. But that’s not how we do business. Quite the opposite, we tend to work best with critical thinkers who don’t need step-by-step guidance. In fact, proactivity is one of the most sought-after qualities in Qubiz. So, feel free to take the initiative, suggest better solutions, and disagree if you have arguments to back up your idea.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Commercial contracts (maintaining templates, periodical reviews, produce drafts, and last but not least prospect/client negotiations);
Workforce related compliance (individual working contracts, collective contract, benefits compliance with regulations);
Service supplier contacts (maintaining templates, periodical reviews, produce drafts, and negotiation on the clauses);
Other supplier contracts (eg. banks, leasing companies, security, health, maintenance, real estate, etc.);
Corporate operations (merger related, exceptions, ongoing needs);
Assistance with start-up companies;
Overall tracking and monitoring on all contract types above, guiding the management team to take appropriate preventive & corrective actions;
Overall monitoring of regulation changes, provide relevant updates and guiding management team to take appropriate actions;
Custom situations and escalations (client escalation, personnel escalations, compliance gaps or security incidents);
Ensuring compliance with ISO27001 and GDPR regulations, in collaboration with our DPO (Data Protection Officer) and CSO (Chief Security Officer).

Job requirements:

Appropriate legal studies;
Corporate law background;
Advanced level English (C1 or higher);
Experience with international business, especially in the EU services industry;
Experience with the types of contracts and legal relationships mentioned at the above section.
