About the project

Our client and Microsoft have entered an exciting strategic partnership for the development of next-generation data, analytics, and cloud infrastructure solutions for warehouse management. The solution will transform the way the warehouse management will be performed, analyzed and trade around the world. It will also advance our cloud strategy and build the improved resilience, efficiency, and agility that our customers require. All of Microsoft’s customers will also have access to our data and analytics capabilities through a single flexible infrastructure that is intuitive and responsive. The goal of this new team is to migrate the client's main data platform solution and other key technology infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, enhancing its existing cloud migration strategy. The key objectives are to deliver the client's vision to revolutionize the way capital markets discover, analyze, and trade securities around the World. The vision is anchored on a cloud-centric strategy that will enhance customer experience and product capabilities across our business, leverage hyperscale technology and deliver best-in-class resiliency and stability.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and application development AND 5+ years experience in at least 3 of the following functional areas: Azure Kubernetes & Containers – experience with Docker, Kubctl, shell scripting, Pod design & configuration, operations and monitoring, and container tools;
Dependable Microservices Architecture Background - Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture, including service decomposition, service boundaries, API design, and inter-service communication. Familiarity with patterns like Circuit Breaker, Service Registry, and API Gateway;
Development languages (e.g., Python, .Net, Bicep),NET technologies up to the latest version (e.g., .NET Core, .NET Standard, ASP.NET Core);
Azure DevOps – expertise with Azure DevOps, Github, Terraform,, PowerShell, Python, Bicep or other scripting language, CI/CD, Unit/UI Testing;
Cloud technologies - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and the ability to design microservices to leverage cloud-native services;
Performance Optimization and Scalability - Ability to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize microservices for speed and efficiency, and design scalable systems capable of handling high loads;
Application Lifecycle Management (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, TFS);
Solution Architecture (e.g., SOA, enterprise architectures);
Business level fluency to read, write and speak English.
