Our client is one of the largest university hospitals in Belgium. They provide high-quality medical and paramedical care to ambulatory and hospitalized patients. More than 8.800 employees are committed to provide a diversified and specialized patient care and to work constantly on improving their services.
The Backstory
The hospital’s strength lies in blending research, training and multidisciplinary patient care, which is a permanent object of critical reflection and renewal for them. Our client needed a tool that would help them enhance doctor-patient communication during recovery treatments. Qubiz created a website where the researchers and therapists can communicate with their patients via video streaming, text, and chat. They can also share various treatment-related documents and provide feedback on how useful the information was.
The Solution
Using the solution developed by Qubiz:
- The patients can log into the system to chat with their therapists and to access documents.
- The therapists can log into the system to chat with their patients and to share documents with them. Additionally, they can record messages that can be watched later by their patients.
- The website also has a manageable back-end that can be accessed by an administrator.
- The website is supported by all major web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari (for Mac and PC), and is accessible from tablets as well.
