Our recruitment team is like a window into Qubiz. Through them, the outside world can glimpse what we’re all about. They are at the forefront of finding spectacular talent and promoting our unique culture (aka #qubizm).
We asked Alex, Ancuța, and Emilia from Cluj-Napoca to share their secrets of success.
I am excited to have other HR responsibilities besides recruiting. It allows me to work with the wonderful people I met during the recruitment process. It's fun to see how we impact each other. I can proudly say that I have grown in this role.
They say you never get bored as a recruiter. Well, they’re right. Being a very active person, I enjoy this aspect of my job. I also love the fact that I have success stories every week. I love the fact that people say yes to me… very often. And even when they do not, they give me an honest reason. So sometimes I win, and sometimes I learn.
I love the fact that we are a team. Before I joined the recruitment group, I had a "one-person show" role. It's nice to enjoy the synergy of this group!
Lively – we never get bored, and we have fun at work. Supportive – we can rely on each other. Persistent – we move mountains every week.
LinkedIn. Skype. LinkedIn. 🤣
Trust. Transparency. Confidence.
I love conducting interviews with Alex, one of our developers from Oradea. His enthusiasm for his projects, his team, his office, and his hometown is contagious. He almost convinced an applicant from Bucharest to start a new life in Oradea to work with him on an R&D project.
I must confess that job interviews aren't my favourite tasks. I tend to be nervous when I start a video call. That's why my colleagues try to get me to smile before I talk to an applicant. One time, they made me laugh during a job interview. Fortunately, the applicant had a good sense of humour, so we were able to laugh together.
I saved an email that an applicant sent to the hiring manager. He wrote: “The interview was unlike any other interview I attended. The questions surprised me and were insightful.” At the end of the process, he accepted our offer, so it's safe to say I made a lasting impression.
LinkedIn is a social network focused on networking, building careers, and sharing ideas – let's keep it that way!
Almost everything you need to know about the job is in the job description. On the other hand, an interview is a great opportunity to learn more about the project, the team, and the company.
If you indicate in your status that you don't want to change your job, I won’t contact you. Otherwise… 😊
Creativity is your superpower. Don't be afraid to challenge the status quo, but do it intelligently and deliver value.
Don't take to heart everything that happens. Enjoy and learn from every hiring process you're involved in.
To succeed as a recruiter, you have to be persistent. Remember that every “no” gets you closer to a “yes”!
Being outgoing and sociable is key to integrating into the Qubiz team. Staying “hungry” is the secret to professional success. (Everyone agrees)
